Automatic Two-Stage Yeast Culture Expansion Tank with Siemens PLC, ABB & Schneider
This 10-Tonne Yeast Propagation System​ is a fully automated, aseptic yeast culture line designed for medium-to-large breweries to produce high-vitality, contaminant-free pitching yeast in-house. The process begins with media (wort/nutrient) being heated to 100°C for sterilization, flash-cooled to 30–40°C, then gently agitated under sterile conditions for 24h (Stage 1).

Nutrient is replenished and temperature held at 28–30°C for another 24h (Stage 2)​ before the active yeast culture is transferred to the 10T Yeast Storage Tank​ ready for pitching into fermenters. The system includes steam boiler (or electric heating), refrigeration unit, air compressor, sterile air filter, hot & cold water tanks, and a PLC cabinet with remote-access control.
